One of our core goals at INTRSCT is to facilitate urban experiences. Every year during the month of March, we offer a one week ministry opportunity to college students who wish to experience Chicago through INTRSCT. Since 2004, each March has brought dozens of college students from various Universities around the country—eager to see Chicago during their Spring Break. These talented students bring their enthusiasm as volunteers to INTRSCT. In return, they get housing and food for the week. We call this crazy week March Mania!

During their stay, the students interact with INTRSCT staff, city residents and the youth of our programs. In addition to assisting with regular programming, participants interact with all phases of the city. From enjoying Art and Cultural events to shopping on the Magnificent Mile to sitting and talking with the homeless, a spring break spent in Chicago is bound to be life changing. Every group that has joined us for a week has expressed that they were challenged and changed for the better. March Mania has also allowed our ministry to grow to new levels of effectiveness because of the college students who give of their time to Dwell in Chicago.
